As a whole we are sad to say the Stonehouse Inn was sold as a private residence on February 19th, 2008 to a wonderful family from the Bay area. The Inn will continue to host guests up until March 1, 2008. Our father, Adeodat Navaille passed away on June 29th, 2007 and we miss him each and everyday. His spirit and dream is reflected throughout the Stonehouse Inn but as a family, and some expectations from the I.R.S. helped us decide it was time to move on. Our father fell in love with the house back in 1984 and it was his dream to share the house and its history with guests from around the world.
Under his stewardship my siblings and I were given the opportunity to be at the helm of the property and see it flourish. Other family members shared this experience with us and put forth time, energy and love to further my Dad's dream. This includes Allie Navaille, Addie Navaille, Terri Navaille Shapiro, Michelle Navaille, Kevin Navaille, Christie Navaille Farnum, Andre Navaille, Matt Heaviside, Joanna Winningham, Amanda Farnum, Grace Navaille, Clara Navaille, Memori Dean Spence, Jimmie Rawson, Alan Shapiro, Taylor Shapiro, Orion Navaille Rogers and Lucy Shapiro. I must also thank our devoted housekeeper and friend Latu. She has been a stalwart employee and friend for the better part of two decades. This includes her husband, sons, daughters, nieces, nephews and numerous cousins. We thank all of you for your time, devotion and unwavering commitment to the Inn and more importantly to our family. We love all of you and we will miss the bonds that have kept us so close for so long but look forward to sharing our new experiences and life's changes.
We all want to thank each and everyone of you that visited The Inn, our home and made a dream come true. You are too numerous to thank but we know some of your spirit has been left behind. Much of your love, laughter and tears still resonates within the charming confines of the Stonehouse Inn. Our father was deeply religious so in his honor we wish you all God's blessings and hope you can catch some dreams and share it with your friends and family.
Thanks Again,
The Navaille Family
